Police Officer Caught In Viral Video Of Chief Okoya’s Sons Allegedly Abusing Naira Identified, Detained Police

The Nigeria Police Force has said that it has identified and detained one of its officers shown in a viral video where sons of Lagos businessman, Chief Razak Okoya allegedly abused the naira.

The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in an X post he posted early Friday morning.

He said;  “The policeman captured in the recent viral video shared by the sons of the Lagos businessman, Chief Okoya, where they were abusing the naira, has been identified and detained for disciplinary action.

Adejobi said; “The involvement of the policeman has been condemned, as it’s unethical.

“We will always strive hard to uphold the sanctity, credibility, and core values of the police.”
