The Jigawa state Police command working at Fanisau Division, Dutse LGA received a complaint that one Abbas Ibrahim of Warwade village was attacked with a stick and knife on 30/6/20 by unknown person while on his way to Jidawar Sarki village, of Dutse local Government and dispossessed him of his money.
On receipt of the complaint report, investigation commenced in earnest, as a result, of investigation one Zubairu Abashe 22 years old of Kabulle village, in Dutse LGA was arrested. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the alleged offence.
He further stated that he and his cohorts were responsible for most of the robberies in that area.
The case is under investigation with in a view to arresting the remaining gang members.
He explained further that the suspect after completion of the investigation would be taken to court.
