The Police in Jahun LGA of Jigawa State said it received a distress call that kidnappers numbering about 12, armed with dangerous weapons, stormed the house of one Ibrahim Bronco a 52year old man of Akama Bakin Kasuwa quarters in Jahun town, headquarters of Jahun LGA kidnapped and robbed him the sum of N140,000,
The bandits fired gunshots in the air and carried him away on motorcycles, the Police said on receipt of the call, rushed to the scene, blocked all the entrances and exits in the town, and alerted the neighboring Divisions.
Following the closure of all the exits in the LGA, the kidnappers were not able to escape as they abandoned the man abandoned him in Gujungu area and zoomed away.
