Police Detains Editor of 247ureports, Ikennna Ezenekwe On The  Orders of Primus Odili, Ex Gov Obiano’s Chief of Staff

The Nigeria Police has arrested our Editor, Mr. Ikenna Ezenekwe Over a story he published on Mr. Primus Odili, former Chief of Staff to Ex-Governor Willy Obiano of Anambra State.

Speaking with us, his wife told us that the Police arrested him yesterday, where he was taken to Force Headquarters House.

“Yes he was arrested yesterday by the Police where he was taken to Force Headquarters,” the wife told us.

According to the wife, he was arrested over a story he wrote about the former chief of staff in Anambra state (Primus Odili).

Speaking further, the wife told us that after several efforts to get the source of the story he published proved abortive the Police transferred him from Force Headquarters to Maitama Police Station to continue further interrogation.

Even at the Police Station in Maitama , the Police have refused to release him, except he disclosed the source of the said story.
