Police Arrest Fraudsters In Hadejia Jigawa For Cheating And Conspiracy

The Police in Jigawa has arrested three persons in  Hadejia to who bought Golf Saloon from one Umar Garba of Kafin/Hausa LGA through one  Sani Bello alias (Dillali).

After consultations, they agreed to buy the car at the rate of N1, 400,000, which they instantly transferred the money into the account of the said Sani Bello. Having received an alert of the deposited money, the vehicle and its particulars were given to them, they left. Unfortunately, when Sani went to the bank to withdraw the money, he did see the said payment in his account.

Hence the reported the matter to the Police and Police swung into action, then on 19/9/2020 the Police arrested two of the suspects viz; Maxwell Saheed of Maimalari Army Barracks and Smart Victor of the same address in Damaturu, and one David Joshua suspected to be a dismissed army officer took to his heels, and the vehicle was also recovered.

In the course of the investigation, one Sule Wada of Dutse recognized one of the suspects who also duped him in the same way and went away with his Mercedes vehicle.

The Case is still under investigation

The police public relations officer SP Audu Jinjiri said  effort is being intensified to arrest the fleeing suspect.
