Plea For Release Of ISAMATA President Ezeanochie On Health Grounds Goes To UzodimmaFreedom Jidechi

Concerned citizens of Imo State, Nigeria, have fervently appealed to the esteemed Executive Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma (Onwa Oyoko), to grant clemency to the detained President of Imo State Amalgamated Traders and Markets Association, ISAMATA, Mr. Emmanuel Ezeanochie.

Ezeanochie has been held at the Imo State Police Command for over 31 days, and his deteriorating health has prompted this urgent plea.

Anonymous leaders from Imo State expressed their appeal: “Our dear Governor, you are the father of all Imo citizens;

“We beseech you to show mercy upon the embattled President of ISAMATA. To err is human; to forgive, divine;

“We appreciate your relentless fight against insecurity and corruption in Imo State, demonstrating your leadership and resolve;

“However, we passionately implore you to release Ezeanochie.”

They continued, “You have the authority to freeze his bank accounts, investigate his financial transactions as former ISAMATA President. Nonetheless, we appeal for his immediate release from police custody for the sake of his health.”

According to reports from ThePressman Newspaper and other journalists, over 25 individuals arrested alongside Ezeanochie have been released. The concerned group questioned, “Why is Ezeanochie still detained?”

They added, “Please, our amiable Governor, release Ezeanochie. He requires urgent medical attention. His health has significantly deteriorated after 31 days in detention, necessitating immediate medical checkup and care.”
