Plateau Vanguard Eulogizes Lalong  For His  Commitment To  Transform Plateau State

The Plateau Vanguard for Progressive Change (PVPC) ,President Hon. James Arin  has eulogized governor Simon Bako Lalong for presenting 2017 budget to focus on revamping ailing industries to produce goods and services to  the people and a sustainable development of the state.

This commendation was contain in a press statement made available to the media by senate President ,James Arin and his Secretary ,Philip Eplong at the Senate’s Chamber in Jos on Monday.

The president also commended the Governor of Plateau State, for presenting blueprint for developing infrastructural in  rural areas into cosmopolitan settings .

He tasked politicians in Plateau state to get their political differences and cooperate with one another in order to work collectively towards the development and progress of the state.

Hon Arin stressed the administration is commitment to the  settlement of outstanding  civil servants arrears ,Salaries and the pensioners ,as well appeal that government should consider the plight of no work ,no pay workers of local governments in the state.

He appreciated the governor for the remarkable achievement; his administration recorded within the two years in office, the construction of road network and other developmental projects across the state is highly commendable.

According to him, the governor should put more efforts in maintaining the existing peace by creating jobs to the teeming of unemployed women and youths in the state.

The PVPC president called on the religious leaders to give the governor all the needed support to encourage him achieves his objects of transforming the state to an industrial economy.

He lauded plateau state for undertaken a balance of N117,713,702.95 paid for the conclusion of the construction of the main roads to the Plateau State University ,Bokkos; a balance of N78,486,453.49 paid for the construction of Kalong bridge and sum of N120 million for water treatment chemical of the state water board.

The President said the recent improvements on efficient workforce for civil servants who have been offered opportunity to pursue their career and to advance civil service examination and study for 2015/2016 academic year.

The group was also proud of governor Lalong for hosting 35th edition of the federation of the public service games which is a clear demonstration of the atmosphere of peace, harmony and tranquility created by the leadership of the RESCUE team.

Arin express confidence that the commissioner and Attorney general, Barr. Jonathan was able handle so many legal issues by proffering professional solution to criminal cases.

He applauded the administration for engaging the service of a firm toward the resuscitation of the Jos International Brewery (JIB) plc and government purchased and distribution of improve seedlings of tomatoes and Irish potatoes to farmers at subsidized price.
