Plateau APC Youth Vanguard Calls On President Tinubu To Appoint Chief Amos Gizo As Minister

A  group under the aegis Plateau All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Vanguard called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Government to field the vacant Plateau ministerial slot with Chief Amos Gizo.

The group congratulated Mr. President for putting policy on the ground to address the dwindling economic situation as an amiable leader.

According to the statement,” the Plateau APC Youth Vanguard is a strong, vibrant and formidable body that matches her words with actions when it comes to Plateau Politics and youth activism”.

Chief Joshua Samuel Chairman and    Alh, Mohammed Garkuwa secretary in a release made available to this medium appeals to President Tinubu to appoint Chief Amos Gizo as the minister from Plateau state after the resignation of Former Governor Simon Lalong as minister of Labour .

This is a body that has its members and leaders cutting across the seventeen (17) LGAs of Plateau state.

Our activities in recent times at the North Central zone are very commendable.

Mr. President, the knowledge about you that propelled us to work tirelessly during the 2023 Presidential election came through the efforts of Chief Amos Gizo whom we all can attest to his loyalty to you.

It’s a known fact amongst all in Plateau that Chief Amos Gizo ranks first when it comes to your political activities, as he was there for you before, during the Primary, and after the primary, he was always home and he visited most states in the North and particularly the North Central geo-political zone and he was seen in most of the states of the federation during the presidential campaigns.

Finally, he returned home to come and deliver his unit, ward, and Local Government to you. These he achieved ahead of most of those who parade themselves as your own despite their roles against you before and during the presidential primary.

As a father you have Embraced all We cannot forget their association with the former Transport Minister Rt Hon Rotimi Amaechi.

We were hated by them for following Chief Amos Gizo for your ambition.

Sir, it is in this light that we are soliciting that you consider Chief Amos Gizo for the ministerial position from Plateau State because Hon. Dr Simon Bako Lalong has collected a certificate of return from INEC to serve as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Mr. President, as Political youths, we can confidently tell you that Chief Amos Gizo is your own who defends all your agenda and now through his Magazine and Newspaper the Citywatch during the APC presidential Primaries Chief Amos Gizo pulled Plateau delegates hidden together for you and also mobilized us to campaign for you during the 2023 presidential election in Plateau state.

Sir, you may also recall that during the same presidential elections most of the State’s present APC stakeholders Lost in their units, wards and Local Governments while Chief Amos Gizo scaled through all these, the facts are there for everyone to see. 

Sir, it may interest you to know that all the people Most of those who were not with you earlier still have double loyalty while Chief Amos Gizo and others who are your loyalists are blocked outside.

Sir, we the Plateau APC Youth Vanguard want to bring this Clarion to call to you bring Chief Amos Gizo into your cabinet as a minister because the Plateau Central Senatorial zone since the inception of democracy in 1999 zone had a short period of just one year as a minister as against the southern senatorian zone had six times and the Northern senatorial had five times which we strongly believe for fairness the plateau central senatorial should be considered for such appointment for a service to the nation, He has been in politics for over forty years and has traversed the entire country on political assignments.

He is known to so many in the country and we will reassure you of an uninterrupted service to humanity beyond 2027.
