The Deputy Governor of Plateau State Mr Ignatius Longjan yesterday refused to go with rumours and insinuation that he has defeated to the All Progressive Congress APC in the state
Longjan in Press Statement through his campaign organization sign by the secretary Mr Musa Garba Musa and made available to the media distanced himself from the reports
The statement read in part; “The attention of the Longjan Campaign Organization has been drawn to a statement that has inundated the social media and the media saying that the Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Ignatius Datong Longjan has defected to the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
“This has come to the Deputy Governor, the Campaign Organization and by extension, his teaming supporters as a surprise.
Therefore, the Ignatius Longjan Campaign Organization wishes to categorically refute such insinuations and claims”.
The plateau state Deputy governor Mr Longjan categorically stated that he is still a bona fide card carrying member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and call on all our teaming supporters to discountenance such misleading insinuations.
It would be recalled that the APC chairman in state Hon. Latep Dabang had revealed that all arrangement has been concluded to receive the deputy governor to APC.
