Plateau Southern Senatorial Bye-Election: How PDP Is Engaging Prince Miaphen Ignatius In Dirty Blackmail Of Lalong, Says APC Group
The main opposition People Democratic Party, PDP, are now eschew in politics of misinformation to trade blame over their divided leadership, a Plateau has said.
An All Progressives Congress, Concerned Group on Sunday said the opposition People Democratic Party (PDP ) is engaging in cheap blackmail because it had seen the handwriting of failure on the war 31st October 2020 forthcoming Plateau South Senatorial bye-election.
The Spokesman of Plateau APC Concerned group, Morris Danladl while reacting to what they termed baseless publication credited to one Prince Miaphen Ignatius, stated that the allegation that the APC had concluded plans to rig the election was fallacies which only existed in the imagination of the failure of the opposition to organize themselves ahead of voting exercise scheduled to hold on the 31st October.
According to him, some of the members of the opposition have been sponsored to disrupt the conduct of the by-election to blackmail Governor Simon’s Lalong leadership by accusing him of rigging the election.
“It is indeed shameful act to see a political thug of Prince Miaphen Ignatius bringing allegations of accusation that Lalong will lose the by-election, he is only interested in table tipping instead of engaging themselves in constructive politicking and debate on the rational issue of common importance, he explained.
However, he pointed out that, “It is sad they have also constituted themselves into groups weaponized to disrupt the conduct of the forthcoming by-election”
“Plateau Government will keep vigil against agents of evil sponsored by the opposition to disrupt peaceful coexistence in the state.
We can now see the reason why they are not interested in the smooth conduct of the election and we vow to deploy security personnel during the election to curtail forthcoming rigging.
