The Plateau State Police Command has confirmed the killing of at least four persons n separate attacks on two communities in Bassa LGA of Plateau state.
The attacks were said to have taken place in Kwachudu and Irigwe on Sunday evening and Monday morning respectively.
Plateau Police Spokesperson, Ubah Ogaba, said security operatives have been deployed to maintain calm in the areas, adding that the perpetrators would be made to face justice.
“The incident happened in two different communities, four persons lost their lives — one in one village, three in the other village,” he said.
“Personnel have been deployed to that area to ensure that there is peace while an investigation is on.”
According to him, investigations have commenced to fish out perpetrators of the dastardly act.
