Plateau Pilgrims Welfare’s Board Acquires Befitting Accommodation With Albarnawi For 2024 Hajj

The Executive Secretary of Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Hon Daiyabu Dauda , has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Makkah Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over standard accommodation for the welfare of 2024 intending pilgrims from Plateau.

The head of media and Information officer of the Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Yusuf Abdullahi Wase made this disclosure in a Press release in Jos.

Dauda assured the government of the Governor of Plateau State of befitting accommodation and feeding of the state contingent in the holy Land that those who completed payment shall be airlifted in batches.

He said, the Executive Secretary of Muslim Pilgrims Welfare’s Board, Daiyabu embarked on under spot assessment tour to Saudi Arabia as part of preparation for a smooth take off of the 2024 Hajj Operations.

Daiyabu Dauda expressed satisfaction with the arrangement reached with the contractor after inspecting the facilities around the accommodation site.

The executive secretary before contracting the accommodation with the appropriate contractor engaged the company on service providers to avoid any failure that may undermine the preparedness of the Board for hitch-free Hajj Operations in line with the Directives of Governor Caleb Mutfwang administration’s agenda of “the time is now mantra”.

Daiyabu Dauda admonished the contractor that the Time has come and the time is now for all intending pilgrims from Plateau State to enjoy the privilege of praying for the state in a period of dwindling challenges of insecurity and economic hardship.

He emphasized that 2024 intends for hajj members should be given adequate attention for their welfare both at home and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to him “We have a governor that is giving us all the necessary support since his assumption of office so we shall all give him the maximum cooperation for him to succeed “

Dauda disclosed that the Board embarked on the investigation on the quality accommodations and, closeness to the holy mosque to ensure the free movement of the hajj members.

Meanwhile, the contractor, Alhaji Muhammad Ali Al Barnawi for the Accommodation providers assured the government of Plateau State of keeping to the terms of the agreement as according to him they will do everything humanly possible to give them the best from Plateau State 2024 pilgrims.

The Board chairman Alh Danladi Kwari and the Director of Finance and Supply are also in Makkah with the Executive Secretary to ensure all contracts are sealed and Plateau Pilgrims receive adequate attention as directed by the executive Governor of Plateau State Barr. Caleb Mutfwang.
