Over 350 Women Received Training In 30 Different Skills Acquisition Of Mai-Akwala Charity Foundation In Plateau

At least no fewer than 350 women have been trained in 30 different skills acquisition program of Abubakar Kabiru Mai-Akwala charity foundation in Jos North Local Government Council of Plateau State.

The foundation has also trained over 50,000 women in the 15 years of its existence to help boost the income generation of households in Plateau State.

The Founder, and CEO of Mai-Akwala Charity Foundation, Alh Abubakar Kabiru Mai-Akwala urged the Plateau Government to partner with the charity foundation for the betterment of the lives of vulnerable women.

According to him, the foundation has given priority to Widows to make them self-reliant and also help reduce poverty amongst the poor of the poorest in the country who can’t afford a square meal.

The philanthropist trained women on soap making, pomade, shampoo conditioner, toilet paper, cake making, and different skills acquisition to enable them to take absolute care of themselves to end their lives.

Kabiru Mai-Akwala emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence between all worshippers of the two dominant religions of Christianity and Islam as he explains that without peace nobody would come gathered here for your graduation ceremony to rejoice with you.

However, he said that the selection of the beneficiaries was not done on religion but all the residents of Jos North LGA who are either Muslims or Christians.

Kabiru Mai-Akwala charity foundation promoted interreligious harmony in the state through the philanthropist gesture of restoring peace and encouraging oneness.

He tasked spirited individuals in Nigeria to organize and coordinate ways to salvage the present hardship.

He stated that within the fifteen years of the foundation, the state continued to witness tremendous empowerment and poverty reduction, especially among women.

Kabiru Mai-Akwala employed the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State to build a partnership with the foundation to improve the well-being of the citizens.

He lamented that his mind bleeds with the rising issues of widows whose breadwinners were killed and vulnerable children are left without someone to take care of their welfare.

We must come together and improve the society and carter for those that desire attention to live by having daily income in managing the affairs of the home front, he said.
