Plateau PDP Plans To Reject Governor Simon Lalong If He Defects

A former member of the Sheriff Camp of the People Democratic Party spokesman and now Youth Activist, Hon Emmanuel Macham, has stated that the PDP will reject Governor Simon Lalong if he defects to the PDP.

Macham while speaking on the current gale of defections hitting the APC, advised the People Democratic Party, (PDP) Plateau State chapter under the leadership, Hon Damishi Sango not to accept Governor Simon Lalong in case he defects to the PDP.

Macham described the current defections of All Progressive Congress, APC, Senators, House Representatives and party stalwarts as the best to African democracy by asking politicians to shun politics of bitterness.

He disclosed this while reacting to the security personnel besieging the Senate President Bukola Sarki and Deputy Senate president, Okwarumadu at their residences in Abuja.

Macham said democracy remains the better system of government that offers citizens freedom of expression and right to living but the federal government had failed to protect lives and properties of Nigerians under the APC regime.

According to him, there is a failure in government on issues of security of lives the federal government could not continue to harass Nigerian who are agitating for a change of government.

He emphasized that”I think the APC government is afraid of the coming tsunami and the looming defections and the current agitation going on across the States and they have decided to be using force to arrest intimidate by suspected, framing the leaders of the agitators.

Macham told journalists that the national assembly seems to be in the forefront and the principal officers of the two hallow Chambers which necessitate that use of force on them to intimidate and possibly to frustrate them all.
