Plateau Joint Task Force On Revenue Generated N3 Million In Three Days By Yakubu Ventim

Director Motor vehicle Administration,Board of internal Revenue Nicodemus Goma Kopjingha has said the team of joint task force on revenue generation  in Plateau state has  generated over 3 million naira in plateau central in three days.
Kopjingha stated this in an exclusive interview with our reporter at the Plateau state Revenue board head  office .
He pleaded with cars owners and the motorists plying Jos and environs  to come and  renew  their vehicles particulars  wIthin this  period .

He pleaded with the residents of Plateau to ensure that the committee in charge of revenue generation didn’t make use of force on them  before they come  to pay ,saying the use of force before people coming to pay for  vehicles particulars is consider as a very  bad approach.
Kopjingha expressed, government readiness to   encouraged  people to  exercise their civil obligation  of coming to   renew their cars particulars  yearly as  a mark of  loyalty to constituted authority as citizens.
It is the  duty of    FRSC, VIO and Revenue board who are  charge with the responsibilIty of collecting taxs on behalf of government to do  so we don’t want  force on  people before they  come to pay tax,he said.
He said,the joint patrol team will clamp down on all the offenders by arresting anyone found wanting  .
Kopjingha commended the effort of joint revenue patrol team  for generating more funds within a shortest period.
He further advice motorists plying major streets in Jos  to comply with government directive and law or face prosecution,we appreciate everybody contributions as a matter of urgency we are making sure  people  pay their new license fees after the expiration of  their taxes certificate .
We have made all the necessary  provision for all  defaulters  who want to register to get TIN number we also get  ready for those who may be ready let them visit our head office or go to the southern plateau  and pay  ,we also make arrest or impound their cars until they come to  complete all the necessary documentation.
Nicodemus Goma kopjingha added that dateline for the expiration of new plate number have been extended to June next year for people to come and register their particulars to avoid being harrass.

He explained also that, the new plate number content all the requirement of C of 4, House No, all those documents which will help our people in other states .
