The Plateau State Commissioner for Information and Communication Hon Yakubu Dati has advocated for the inclusion of Plateau Tourism sites to be parts of national and international hubs, destination for its diverse cultural potential to boost the revenue generation in the country.

 

Speaking to journalists shortly after the declaration of NATOP AGM 2018 general meeting held at Hill station Hotel, Jos on Monday, he said ,the Plateau state host 2018 destination the choice to make the state tourism hubs of the nation and to promote the diverse cultural display of people socio political cooperation in the country as and employment to the youth .

 

He stressed that the choice of the city is part of government efforts at promoting Plateau destination within the states by partnering with the private sectors to encourage participation.

 

According to him, the meeting which had attracted wide range stakeholders in tourist trade urges delegates from around the states to provide unique opportunity for global visibility for Plateau as a key player in tourism development potential.

 

Hon Yakubu Dati commended the tour agents, NATOP for deem necessary to make Plateau state choice of innovative ideas, strategic thinking and efforts to increase the credibility and visibility of the city in world map of tourism’s development.

 

He explained that away forward for the promotion of housing in Nigeria, we want you to experience accommodative nature of Plateau people and entertainment industry fruits, vegetables and plans and a host to all states.

 

The commissioner described the state as home and tourism in the country with the abandoned deposit of rich temperate weather which the largest man made tourist sites in Wase Rock, Riyom Rock, Kura falls diverse cultural potentials remain untapped.

 

Meanwhile, The Commissioner for Tourism and Hospitality Business, Mrs. Tamwakat Wali said, Plateau had a lot of tourist sites to attract income to boys and girls and development process of the economy.

 

She noted that it is able to create employment and career prospect to the country increase and also increase foreign exchange promote understanding peace and multiple effect .State government measure us placing Plateau state maximum tourism hubs to promote the sectors.

 

Plateau is still a home of peace in Nigeria we are setting the pace on the development of tourist sites were rich diverse culture and display of love but security challenge and promotion tourism in Plateau.

 

She urged the NATOP conference should discuss and address problems associated to tourism which is create solid foundation, it is reputation of the state to stimulate the growth of Plateau potentials.
