Plateau Governor Consoles Andoma Over The Death Of Late Governor Doma

Plateau State governor, Samuel Lalong said the death of the former governor of Nasarawa State, Aliyu Akwe Doma was a great lost not only to Nasarawa State but also a great lost to Plateau State and the entire country.

The governor, disclosed this when he condoled the Paramount ruler of Doma,the Andoma of Doma,Alhaji.Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah at the emirs’ palace.

He described the late governor has an illustrious personality who spend his life in the Plateau as well his political mentor.

“The death of Aliyu Akwe Doma is a death for the people of Nasarawa and Plateau State”.

Praying that the Almighty God grant Doma an eternal life, he also consoled Doma traditional council to bear the irreparable lost.

The Andoma of Doma,Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah thanked the governor of Plateau State,Samuel Lalong for condoling Doma people.

“The late governor was not the son of Doma or Nasarawa State but the son of Nasarawa, Benue and Plateau State respectively “.

The monarch described the death of Aliyu Doma as a joint lost to Nasarawa and Plateau State,adding that the sister States shared common history.

The governor was accompanied by the state commissioner of Environment, Honorable Abbas Garba and the Information Commissioner.

Samuel Lalong also condole the family members of the late governor, Aliyu Akwe Doma at his abode along St John Bosco College, Doma.
