Plateau Gets New Police Commissioner As He Resumes Office

Plateau State Police Command now has new Police Commissioner. The new commissioner of Police, Plateau State Command has resumed work at the command headquarters on Monday 11st September, 2017.

The Commissioner Adie Jeremiah undie has replaced, Peter Babatunde Ogunyanwo who was redeployed to the department of finance and administration force headquarters, Abuja.

CP Adie hails from Obudu local government area of cross River state; he was enlisted into the Nigeria police as cadet Assistant Superintendent of police on February 1st 1986.

He had served in various capacities within the Nigeria police; he was an assistant commissioner in charge of criminal investigation and intelligence department, Uyo, the Akwa ibom state command.

The commissioner also work with the department of operations Delta state command in Asaba ,were he was then promoted to the rank of commissioner on 31st January, 2017.

He obtained his first degree in philosophy from Lagos State University and also has two masters degree in philosophy and in peace and conflict studies from the university of Ibadan, Nigeria.

The commissioner has worked in all the geopolitical zones with verse experience in crime and peace management.
