Plateau Assembly To Domesticate Bill On Social Protection -Hon Nanbol Listic

The Plateau State House Assembly Chairman on Health, and Member Representing Langtang North Central ,Hon Daniel Nanbol Listic has disclosed that his committee has introduced a bill to address the plight of  health care delivery by domestic the law to take care of rural ,urban populace to access free medical outreach .

 

 

Nanbol Listic stated this during an interview conducted on the health implications in Nigeria held in Jos on Tuesday.

 

He said based on the courtesy visit to the 9th assembly by the state coordinator office of Governor Simon Lalong by Dr Sumaye Hamza , the Speaker ,Rt Hon Abok Ayuba set up a committee to enable Plateau people benefit from social protection bill .

 

Hon Daniel said the House was waiting for the technical aspect of assistant of the social protection bill which the focal person came and highlighted some of the vital importance area of social protection bill which to them will  allow free partner with  the private individuals to come in .

 

He pointed out that, “We want to eradicate poverty amongst our people ,we want accessibility to qualitative health to all a sundry ,child right bill on health care delivery looking at the holistic approach which is the giant step taken by the speaker to improve on health of the vulnerable rural populace “.

 

He reiterated that doing this would address most of the health care challenges facing the people of our constituents, the program will help benefit us a lot through the social protection bill .

 

The Chairman of Wase Local Government Council ,Dr Ado Buba assured that the LGAs across the state will do anything possible to make the program a great success .

He lauded the performance of the  national cash transfer in Plateau state were he said they people have benefited a lot and poverty has been reduce minimal level since they introduce it in villages.

 

Ado assured ALGON promised to give them the maximum support with provision of mobility due to terrace were staff are suffering to reach some areas but they will focus motorbikes which easier to drive to the villages.
