Plateau Assembly Members Begin Secret Impeachment Plot Against Its Speaker Hon Ayuba Musa Abok

There is looming plot of a secret plan of impeachment plan going on against the Plateau Speaker, Hon Ayuba Musa Abok who it was alleged has being accused of involving some contract deal, the allegation against the Speaker is the issue of supplying cars through a contractor that supplied refurbished vehicles to the members of the Ninth Assembly.

 

The 24 members of the 9th Assembly which have 15 APC members and 9 PDP members have alleged fraudulent acts under the leadership of the Speaker.

 

The aggrieved members that the speaker was giving a matching order for the supply of vehicles to all members but information reaching this medium shows that some of them are yet to enjoy their cars which are fairly used.

 

Speaking with some of the members who didn’t want their names mentioned, expressed dismay that since these cars were supplied to them within one week they became visitors to mechanic garages owning to one fault to another.

 

It was alleged that the Speaker handled the contract for the supply of vehicles himself and the substandard quality which was supplied is what giving them serious concern.

 

For instance, this medium learned that one of the members of the House has to return the car to the Speaker because the vehicle is refurbished.

 

Moreso, it was learned that another grievance that the members are harboring is the issue of how the Speaker has been dancing to the tune of the Governor, rather than protecting their interest. It was learned that based on the invitation of the Governor, the legislature embarked on a visit to meet with the Governor.

 

However, findings by this medium revealed that the House of Assembly members were kept waiting by the Governor for three hours, and when he finally saw them, he only spent 30 minutes with them as he told that the era of extravagant and licentiousness  spending  has gone due to the economic situation, but some lawmakers  who spoke with the medium on the condition of anonymity said they were first aggrieved with the Governor for keeping them waiting for almost 3hours before seeing them and when he finally saw them, he started preaching to them about how to and how not spend, even he knows he is owing them many months of allowances that are yet to be paid.

 

The asked, where is the money, not to talk of them spending excessively, these they believe are caused by the Speaker as they feel they are not being protected by him.

 

Information also available to this platform shows that if the Speaker Hon Ayuba Musa Abok refuses to engage some of his members from both APC, PDP in the scheme of things in the House, his leadership may likely crash halfway.
