The All Progressives Congress, APC, Plateau state chapter Secretary Hon Bashir Musan-Sati has raised concern that himself and the Party Chairman are not at loggerhead with each other over the news of ministerial list submitted to Mr. President for appointment as 9 people jostling for it.

Musan-Sati who spoke to our correspondent at his resident in Jos North LGA on Monday stressed confidence in the emerging victorious at the ongoing election trial tribunal in Jos.

According to him, as the party secretary, we have never had a crisis with my boss, Hon Leteb Dabang on his ambition for seeking the slog of ministerial appointment.

He said ,this is laughable and an insinuation, we are not at loggerhead with anybody ,I am not asking for anything but if God wants to give me appointment, I didn’t aspire to be a minister and I didn’t think toward that line of thought of getting higher position now, if President found me worthy fine .

Bashir Musan-Sati reiterated that all these are in the hands of God Almighty each one of us understand ourselves, I have been one-time Publicity Secretary of defunct SDP so there are issues that we have overgrown but if there is any problem now myself and the chairman would sit down and discuss.

He said the delayed on Governor Simon Lalong appointing his cabinet wasn’t out of place, he is going come out with people who are credibly and are qualified to move the state forward.

We are still having bye-election in Pengana constituency so that is what affects and causing a setback, we are going to come out victorious at the ongoing election trial tribunal considering that APC scored the highest votes cast.

Bashir Musan-Sati explained further that the reason why the APC government is delaying in the process of appointing was for the party to involve those opposition parties who had an alliance with the Party and we are moving towards having an all-inclusive government

“You have credible and competent people which is delaying the state commissioners nominee list, we need to consider people who pedigree is not questionable and are willing to work for the interest of promoting the economic viability of the state, particularly in the area of human capital development “, he said.

He spoke extensively on the problems associated with the people of Pengana constituency where he said INEC wrote to us to ensure that they monitor all the political parties primaries to ensure that the exercise was conducted in a peaceful manner without rancour.

Musan-Sati noted that INEC issue out directive them that they are going to follow up all the political parties primaries and see who would emerge as the flag bearer and as a party, we don’t have any other option than to follow the laydown procedure given to us.

We should say let the person who came second in our last primaries be allowed to be the party flag bearer but INEC insisted that due process must be followed.
