Senator Jonah Jang, representing Plateau North Senatorial Zone in the Senate was today arraigned before Justice Daniel Longji of the Jos High Court.
Brought in a white Toyota Haice bus and surrounded by EFCC and police operatives, Jang wore a plain white flowing “baban riga” with a blue cap, and cheerfully acknowledged his supporters and well-wishers as they cheered him along.
He arrive the court premises at 9:30am this morning and the court proceedings are currently in session.
Many of the senator’s supporters who were at the court, posited that his trial is simply a political witch-hunt and that they will use his trial as a rally point for defiance against Government impunity.
Notable individual who were present in the court include Hon Simon Mwadkon (for House of Assembly Member), Hon George Daika (Gubernatorial Aspirant) and numerous PDP state executives.
