About fifteen people were said to have been critically injured while two cars vandalized along Federal low-cost road in Bauchi metropolis.
This followed an allege attack by mob believed to be faction of Bauchi state students Union president Musa Jibrin.
It could be recalled that the students Union had recently conducted separate elections that almost culminated into crisis as other faction is accusing government, while another faction is accusing the national assembly from Bauchi for sponsoring their preferred candidates.
Addressing journalists at the NUJ secretariat Tuesday, Nuru Nasiru Cigari president of the faction said, they were attacked after condoling the family of Alhaji Hassan Lame in federal low-cost.
Cigari added that the governor’s aide on students matter Comrade Mohammed Abbakar Jibo lead the mob attack with other several students.
According to him, apart from the fifteen people that were injured from his faction, others had to flee for their dear life explaining that the case has been reported to the police.
