PDP women beg PMB to involve rural women on welfare

The People Democratic Party in Bassa Local Government Council have begged President Muhammadu Buhari to focus on tackling the problem of rural farmers and creating network of Agriculture program of empowering them.

The spokeswoman of the women Mrs Helen Afon who made this known while speaking to party loyalists in Jengre ward, reiterated that any program that can  engaged rural women would have direct benefit to many people and their families ,we  want federal government to tackle rural women suffering.

Mrs Afon urged government to pay attention to the education of the girl child with great emphasis on rural populace who are lacking behind.

Adding she said; “we can improve our living standard if government provide us with platform for training, then our children won’t be idle but remain responsible citizens.

She thanked God for providing this opportunity for her to interact with women during and after electioneering campaign which was peaceful by showing her gratitude to them all.

“We are appealing to President Buhari to create employment to the teeming youths to be train on vocational skill acquisitions program prevent rural/urban drift”.

She stressed the need for people to respect PDP ideology having laid solid foundation of democracy to Nigerian in eighteen years.
