PDP Rep Member Assures Of Cordial Working Relationship With APC Members

A Member representing Bokkos/Mangu Federal Constituency under PDP  at the House of Representatives, Hon. Solomon Maren,  has assured of his cordial  working relationship with  the APC members to move Nigeria forward .

Maren disclosed this in an interview with the Newsmen on Monday in Jos.

‪The lawmaker who was elected to represent his people at the green chamber under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) promised to discharge oversight function of providing quality representative to his constituency.

”Since when I was declared winner of the election I have extended my hand of friendship to my opponent, so that together we can work for the betterment of our people.

”I keep saying that the time of campaign is gone, it’s now time for good governance and good governing, I can’t exclude those that contested with me”, Maren said

The lawmaker said the outcome of the tribunal was ”Victory for Democracy” and said he has dedicated it to the people of his constituency.

‪It would be recalled that a petition was filled at the election tribunal against Maren by Irine Din, who contested under the Platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

The petition was dismissed for lack of merit, as statements of witnesses in the case were not properly filed and that made it very ”watery”.

”This victory has gone further to humble me before my people, and it is an indication that what the people wants always stands” Maren added.

He again called on his opponent to take the outcome of the tribunal in good faith, and rather than going to appeal, should join hands with him to work towards alleviating the sufferings of their people.
