PDP Chieftain Congratulate State Assembly Member Elect In Adamawa
A people’s Democratic Party, PDP chieftain in Adamawa State, Dr. Umar Ardo has congratulated Hon.Umar Abdulkadir who was elected into the Adamawa State House of Assembly last Saturday.
In Statement signed by Dr. Ardo which read thus; “the Nassarawo/Binyeri Bye –election in Adamawa State and the victory of the PDP is proof that our people, if well enlightened, can take full charge of their political destiny.”
“It shows that impervity to reason by elected leaders can draw unpleasant consequences from the electorates. It is an ideal whose time has come. I am very proud of this feat our people standing up against the antics of dishonest leadership,” he said.
Speaking further he added; “A significant value of this victory is that the election was in the governor’s own Local Government Area. I am also proud of whatever little role I may have played in brining this about. What is left is for all of us to continue working hard together to entrench and sustain this feat in our polity.”
“I congratulate Hon. Umar Abdulkadir on his victory and call upon him to justify the trust repose on him by all of us.”
