PDP Blames Bauchi Governor Over non- performance,  Crisis over payment of civil service salary

A Peoples Democratic Party Stalwart in Bauchi state  Alhaji Dayyibu Chiroma has   described as  general non performance the APC-led Administration in Bauchi, just as he blamed  the Administration for inflicting untold hardship on civil servants in the state due to non-payment of their salaries.

Hon Dayyibu Who was also the majority leader in the 7th State Assembly while speaking to newsmen claim  that since the ouster of the Yuguda, it is  expected that  the APC was supposed to start affecting change  and provision of democracy dividends.

“It wasn’t so people are not feeling the impact of the government amidst the increasing demand for democracy dividends,” he said.

Mr.Dayyibu claim also that since the coming to power of the present administration in Bauchi State, no single new project was initiated.

The former Majority leader said residents of the state seem tired with the style of governance and are therefore yearning for change that could translate into more meaningful, purposeful and profitable administration capable of changing the financial, economic and even social situations of the populace.

He said; “We have given them enough  time before we  start reviewing and reacting over the APC led Administration in the state,  this is almost 9 months  in the administration is enough to provide dividends of democracy because other states are doing it”

According him, instead of the governor to concentrate on how to move the state forward in terms of development and provision of dividends of democracy  he is busy hunting the pass administration,  screening of civil servants, non payment of civil servants that inflicted untold hardship on civil servants, both junior and senior if you don’t pay workers the entire state suffers, that is the style of leadership the state is suffering from.

He stressed that Governor Abubakar is the luckiest among other governors whose debt inherited are not serviceable to any Bank, they are debts that accrued from payment of salaries, allowances, contractors, gratuities etc.

In a swift response the publicity Secretary of All Progressive Congress in the State Alhaji Auwal Jalla said the accusations are  baseless and unfounded.

“The 16 years of PDP left nothing apart from debts that they secure for their personal use, this government came in trying to fix the 16 years of rot,  ‎is not that easy they mess up the whole system which the Governor is trying to fix.

Within 10 months this government awarded contracts for the construction of roads that are nightmare to the citizens the roads from Hardawa, bulkachuwa, Chinade and Udubo‎ and that of Bauchi Metropolis ” Jalla said

Mr Auwal said “this  government does not cause any untold hardship on any civil servants, government is trying to get rid of those monies going into personal pockets of some individuals, and this  does not go well with the oppositions  because they mess up the system in 16 years of their governance.
