Parents of Students schooling at the Nigerian Television College, NTA Jos have planned to resist any attempt to impose   Dr Taiwo Oladokun who left the college years ago.

They group accused the management of alleged plot to  penciled Dr Taiwo whose past records threatened students welfare to assume the  substantive position of the Rector of NTA College.

The Group ask; “How on earth will someone who is not an educationists and staff of an organization be given a high profile position in an institution that is endowed with competent personnel.”

‪This is coming barely four days after the transfer of seven Plateau State indigenes who were qualified for such positions out of the College to Kaduna, Lafia, Jigawa and Zamfara respectively.

‪”If PhD is the pre-requisite for being Rector at NTA College why then do they have to transfer someone with a Doctorate Degree? The institution of NTA TV College should look beyond politics and look inward to getting full accreditation and qualified Staff and they shouldn’t have been transferred for selfish reasons of few individuals who wanted to mismanage the institution that is regarded the best in West Africa.

The Rector, who ought to handover to a PhD holder, Dr.Phoebe Rishanti, who is the Head of Department, Production, has influenced the transfer of Dr. Phoebe to enable her handover to one of her cronies, Mr. Titus Mazuinhi, who is a HND holder, and do not qualify for the position of a Rector.

‪Report reliably gathered alleged that Halima Bewell in the Institution has her loyalist, Mr. Ndamusa, who is an Executive Director Training at the NTA Headquarters upon which Halima was alleged to have been sharing the proceeds of her loot with, that the same Ndamusa made an internal arrangement with the sacked Rector, that seven staff of the TV College who spoke against her embezzlement when a meeting of staff was held, be transferred to other states. Among them are Plateau Indigene, Dr. Phoebe Rishanti, Mr.Justine, Mr.Dimka, Mr.Yohanna, and Mr Zakari Yakubu for selfish interest transferred to Kaduna, Lafia, Gusau and Jigawa states.

‪Findings reveal that, the NTA Director General is not aware of these transfers and Plateau National Lawmakers including the Governor has keep mute to the Transfers while 80% of the students of the college are from Plateau State.
