Worried by family complaint that they abandoned Justina, Stephen’s father  has said that is not true ,the grandfather Mr. Luka Shut who made this disclosure to journalists at the Nigeria Union of Journalists ,NUJ, Plateau State Council in Jos ,

He further revealed that right from the onset, “I have been visiting the family and whatever items I brought during her antenatal the sister always receive them.

According to the grandfather, the news of her delivery of  a bouncing baby boy on the 28th February, 2017 was received when she was scheduled to appear in court for the continuation of hearing over alleged  charges of murder, attempted murder of Juliana Stephen and killing of the elder sister in Tudun Wada ,suburb of Jos North LG,A .

The father Luka Jang Shut debunked allegation that since Justina gave birth nobody visited her but appealed to the appropriate authority that he gave the elder sister to the deceased the sum of N30,000.00 and when we got the news of her delivery, I went to the family because we are from the same family. I used to call all of them my children because of blood relation we are enjoying.

Shut explained that during Justina antenatal, he usually visits their family compound because we are members of one family, the father of Justina is my brother and we have been maintaining mutual respect for each other.

He solicited the cooperation of court to temper justice with mercy now that Justina has put to birth to a bouncing baby boy on the 28th February, 2017 at about midnight in a clinic at Forum District of Barking Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Miss Justina Dusu, now 27 year old confirmed that Mr Stephen Luka allegedly brutalized her and then killed the elder sister, Simi Dusu instantly.

She told our correspondent that “I have put to bed and I am very happy; I love my child so much in spite of what happened.

He is innocent and I cannot extend my anger to him,” she speaks on Wednesday at her hospital bed in Barkin Ladi LGA.

It was gathered that the accused was alleged to have attacked the two sisters on July 27, 2016 at his home in Sabon Gari, Tudun Wada, Jos, after they went to confront him over Justina’s pregnancy.

Luka, who accepted responsibility for the pregnancy, however, suggested an abortion, an idea Justina and her sister flatly rejected.

An angry Luka was said to have lost his cool and used a machete on both sisters, resulting in Simi’s death, while Justina lost her left eye in addition to severe injuries on her body.

Luka has denied the charges.

But Justina, who appeared very happy and at peace with herself, revealed that her son did not commit a crime to be hated by her.

“I am very happy that I put to bed safely. I love my son very much. He has not done anything to me. He is innocent and I can’t hate him.

“I have put the past behind me. I don’t want to remember the horrible things that happened to me and my sister. When I look at my child, I feel happy.”

Justina, however, maintained that she and her family wanted justice and the appropriate punishment given to Luka.

“I have forgiven Luka over what he did to me and my sister, but I need justice. Justice must be served and he must be punished for his actions.

“He humiliated me and my family and I can’t take it. He must be punished,” she said.

She said that Luka’s family visited her for the first time, since the attack, on Feb. 28 and subsequently on March 5.

His (Luka’s) family visited me and my family, on Feb. 28., for the first time. They did not t tell me anything. They only said they came to visit me.

“After I put to bed, one of his uncles also came to visit me. He, too, said he just came to visit me. But none of them brought anything for me or my baby,” she said.

Counsel to Stephen Luka, Barr.David A.Adudu said it is a thing of joy for the two families to witness the new born baby boy which signify happiness to all.

We are praying for peaceful understanding between the members of Justin’s Dusu and Stephen Luka because they now have blood tide which joined them together .

He expressed confidence in the judiciary as the last hope of common man but promised to partner with the appropriate body for quick dispensation of Justice.

Meanwhile, Luka is currently facing charges of murder, attempted murder, assault and sexual abuse at a Jos magistrate court in  High Court premises.
