The decampees said that though most of them joined the APC because of President Muhammadu Buhari, but their aims of supporting the party has failed as they do not have any significant impact of the government in their areas

Speaking, through Bala Ahmad Zalau, the decampees said that all their elected representatives at both National and State levels have performed below par as they have refused to influence any development projects to the area, stressing that they even hardly come to the constituency to meet the people

Zalua, then said that ” the best option for them is to leave the APC, PRP and NNPP in order to team up with the PDP ruling party led by Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed in its resolve to develop the dilapidated state infrastructural and build up the people”, he said.

While receiving the decampees supporters into the PDP at Lame District, the People Democratic Party Bauchi South Zonal Vice Chairman Hon Idris Hassan Zaranda said its a welcome development for the ruling party and appreciate their right and timely decisions for joining the ruling party in the state.

Zaranda, however, assured the decampees that they will be accommodated in the party and also benefit more dividends of democracy at their respective communities by his Excellency, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed’s administration.

It could be recalled that recently there was a widespread rumour of the defection of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed to the APC, however, the PDP in Bauchi state has dismissed it as mere speculation and the figment of the imagination of those spreading the rumor which holds no water.
