Outgoing Chairman Doma LG Jittery Over The Declaration of His Secretary To Vie For Chairmanship

Less than one week to the Local Government Councils’ primaries, The outgoing Chairman of Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Arc Ahmed Sarki Usman, as his Secretary, has formally declared his intention to contest for the Chairmanship Seat.

The Chairman, it was gathered, was left alone despite the intimidating crowd that was with him. Aside from that, the Chairman who controls five elected Councillors was left alone.

Competent sources said the Chairman is having nightmares and experiencing unsettled financial incongruity, especially regarding finances that are supposed not to be for public consumption.

Some of the untold sins of Arc. Sarki are some of the shabby projects he embarked on, Projects are at either 29 or 50 percent completion and monies were released to the contractor who happened to be his Uncle.

One of the project was the revived Alhaji. Ismaila Wambai -Mathew Akwe Street, Less than one-kilometer road constructed by a former Chairman, Alhaji Suleiman Addra.

The road was awarded by a former Member Federal House of Representatives Representing Awe/Doma/Keana Federal Constituency (PDP) Hon. Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, A road that did not see the light of day.

Feelers unveiled that the street was rewarded by the outgoing Chairman, Arc. Ahmed Sarki Usman at the tune of N192,000,000 m  and the project was not up to 45 percent completion but money to the tune of N182,000,000m  was released to the Local contractor remaining a balance of N10, 000,000m

It was gathered that one of his legacy projects which was a street light which supposed to start from Taal Model School Doma ended at the abode of late Doma Farm, Alhaji Bala Umar instead of terminating at Andoma ‘s palace.

On the issue of security vote given to security operatives in the Local Government, An official of the Nigeria and Civil Defense Corps denied huge amount of money coming to them monthly as security vote.

Impeccable sources said they are not aware of the amount spent on the expansion of the Local Government while the amount for the remodeling of Doma Wednesday market was a whooping N408,000,000m awarded to an unregistered company belonging to his Uncle AKA Tanko Man

The supporters of APC in the Local Government are of the view that his administration lacks “Local Content” That is to say no party think tanks were carried along in the award of the contract instead is using the name of a fake contractor or using his registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission, his cronies and  Uncle, A former member House of Representatives as a speculator or a middle man.

The Council Secretary, Comrade Ibrahim Isa Usman declined to comment, but said is in the race, Saying no “Going Back” ” and recalling the former Secretary, who was a Secretary General Ahmed Sarki Usman campaign Organization.
