Governor Theodore Orji has blasted the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha as lampooned the Imo Governor that, Okorocha’s cannot win any polling booth in Abia State in the coming 2015 General elections.
Governor Orji was responding to a statement credited to the Imo State Government that the All Progressive Congress, APC will take over over Abia State in 2015, a statement which Theodore Orji debunked and dismissed as he added that Governor Okorocha is “suffering from acute malaria” as he asked Okorocha to seek for medical attention.
It will be recalled that Okorocha had through his Deputy Eze Madumere while addressing a meeting of the South East chapter of APC held in Umuahia, said that APC will sack PDP from the seat of power in the state come 2015.
In a statement yesterday, Governor Orji told Governor Okorocha that; “Imo people are still regretting their mistake of 2011 when he was voted into power under false pretence as a political messiah which he has proved not to be”.
According to Governor Orji said he said Okorocha’s policies and programmes “are neither here” and have rather taken Imo State backwards while he parades himself as a progressive leader.
In the statement which was signed by Orji’s Chief Press Secretary, Charles Ajunwa he said; “Your rescue mission has failed to rescue Imo and how do you think you can deceive Abians with your political rhetoric and gimmicks? People are now wiser, your tricks in 2011 cannot work for you again. Stop deceiving yourself because South-east has no space for you and your APC in 2015.”
Theodore  Orji told Okorocha ; “stop wasting Imo resources on his imaginary Vice – Presidential ambition but instead deploy them on projects that will benefit the ordinary man as exemplified in Abia “, adding that “very soon it will dawn on Okorocha that he has travelled deep into a political wilderness accompanied by sycophants who will soon desert him.”
The Governor added that in 2015 PDP will repeat the victory it recorded in 2011.
