Opposition Party In Plateau Commends Lalong For Zoning Of Chairmanship Position In Jos North LGA

An aspirant for All Blending Party, ABP, in Jos North Local Government Council Hon Izang Azi, Alias Nakowa, has commended Governor Simon Bako Lalong for the appointment of Hon Shehu Bala as the Management Committee Chairman as he urged political class to adhere to the zoning to end the feud between politicians in the council.
He called on politician to eschew political violence and work for the unity of all a sundry to revamp the state from total decay in the hands of some selfish and greedy politician whose stock in trade is to cause division.
Izang stated this in an interview with our correspondent at NUJ, Plateau State council on Thursday, Jos, while calling for calm amongst the people of Plateau. .
The ABP described the current political upheaval been experience in some parts of the state as uncalled for but solicited for corporate existence of all residents in Plateau state.
Azi said the present zoning arrangement under the leadership of APC leader, Rt Hon ,Dr Simon Lalong had yielded positive result and had done a lot in bringing development to Jos North and its environs .
We are currently experiencing fragile peace in the areas owning to the transparent and committed leadership of Governor Simon Lalong with all tribes residents in Jos north are enjoying peace.
Izang pointed out that the politics of zoning is the only solution to the lingering crisis of Jos North LGA so; we are appealing to political stakeholders to unite for the progress of our desire state for citizens to benefit from the dividends of democracy.
According to him, he reiterated that the lack of unity and suspicion movement within us had thrown the state into politics of backbiting, hatred, killings and destruction of lives and properties of innocent Nigerian who are not into active politics across Plateau and Nigeria.
He reminded the good people of Plateau state to embrace each other for peace reign as the only panacea to development of our beautiful Plateau state because we are one people worshipping only one God so the different in religious is not healthy for us as a nation .
Izang applauded all the lover of democracy in Nigeria to work hard and remain resolute in building a lasting legacy for the upcoming generation to imbibe that spirit of democracy for the betterment in governance.
