The Nigerian Online Media Practitioners Plateau State Chapter has congratulated  Governor the Simon Bako Lalong on his 57th birthday as they charge him to embark on people oriented projects that can touch the lives of poor  citizens.

In a press statement signed by the Acting Chairman , Yakubu Wuyep Busari and the secretary of the Union Jide Afolabi on Tuesday in Jos,  the body expressed confidence in his leadership.

We heartily congratulate you sir ” Rescue Captain and the Chairman of Northern  Governor’s Forum, Your Excellency,  Governor Simon Lalong on your 57th birthday”.

Yakubu Wuyep reiterated that the present global pandemic is a deadly disease that needs the cooperation of all the stakeholders to partner with the government in other for them to achieve the desired result.

He added, sir, as you today turned 57th take you critical time and reflect on your childhood challenges and remember those who are helpless and vulnerable in our state today which God has given you the opportunity to govern them.

As an association, we also congratulate you for showing exceptional capacity in this daunting task of governance in order to better the lives of the good citizens of Plateau.

While congratulating you on this day, the online media Practitioners of Nigeria also condemned in its totality the killings in Miango district of Bassa Local Government Area where over 4,000 people have lost their lives.

We task federal government to reconsider your request our amiable leader in building a Military base in Mahanga of, Barkin-Ladi Local Government to protect our people who have been under persistent attack to which President Buhari remain speechless to their plight.

Online media Practitioners of Nigeria commends the creation of State Economic Advisory Council to develop a post Covid19 Economic sustainability but charge you to look into the taxation law where the state is gradually finding difficult in paying salary.

Our position, we belief that the total locking of petty traders is not the ultimate solution but would bring economic hardship to those who depend on daily sells to survive the hunger.

Secondly, the palliative measure introduce by your kind gesture is way for few class to enrich themselves ,their friends and family associate, as the exercise doesn’t demonstrate transparency in the conduct .

We appeal to that the media Practitioners in Plateau state should be directly involved in the sharing exercise, so as to not  allow politicians to hijack the government good well .

We challenge all a sundry to take advantage of the lockdown to collect households’ data of Nigerian including the government workforce to reduce fear and suspicious mind.
