PDP Lawmaker, Dr. Peter Akwe Gives Out Millions Of Naira Empowerment To Constituents

Member representing Obi 1 Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Peter Akwe, has distributed 220 bags of fertilizers, 8 motorcycles, 37 grinding machines and cartoons of herbicides to the people of his constituency.

This, he said is to boost food security and improve on the standard of living of the people of his constituency.

Akwe, PDP and Chairman, House Committee on Agriculture made the distribution today in Lafia.

The lawmaker while distributing the items said, he will continue to provide dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency to improve their lives.

He said that the gesture was part of his campaign promises to alleviate some of the challenges faced by the people of his constituency

” I have empowered many people, given them jobs as well as initiated different projects that have direct bearing on the lives of my people.

” By God’s grace, I will continue to provide the much needed dividends of democracy to the people of my constituency” he said.

He urged the beneficiaries to make proper use of the items to change on their lives positively.

Akwe solicited the support of the people of his constituency to enable him succeed.

The lawmaker assured of continued sound and quality representation at the state legislature.

On their parts, Alhaji Yusuf Ayitogo, PDP Chieftain among other speakers, commended Akwe for his efforts in empowering farmers and other people of his constituency.

They urged the beneficiaries to utilize the items for the purpose they were meant for.

They assured the lawmaker of their prayers and support to succeed.

It would be reported that some of the beneficiaries, who spoke during the event appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture and assured him of their support to succeed.
