The police in Jigawa state said it has received a distress call from the village head of Adiyani in Guri local government area of Jigawa State.
It was gathered a group of unknown persons suspected to be farmers from Marma village fallowed one Adamu Muhammad aged 30 who is from Matara Kano village near Fulani settlement and attacked him with heavy sticks for reasons best known to them
The Police Public Relations Officer Jigawa State Command SP Audu Jinjiri who confirmed the story said the person sustained various degrees of injuries on his head which he led to his death.
The Jigawa State Police Command said it also directed the Zonal Command in Hadejia to the scene of the incident and they took the victim to the primary health care center before he was confirmed dead.
The case is still under police investigation as police are making effort to arrest the prime suspect.
