The General Manager of Olam Rice Farm Rukubi has distributed a 10kg bags of rice to eighteen host communities and amongst other communities of Rukubi on Wednesday 12,December,2025.
Brijesh Nandal,the G.M, in his speech averred that the palliative was meant to bring succor to the commoners .
He gave the hint during the distribution of rice as Christmas palliative at the football court of Government Secondary School,Rukubi.
He was supported by prominent Sons of the host communities to include the Village and District heads of Rukubi and Village Head of Ijiwo,Barr.Isaac Edu retired.
The District Head of Ijiwo,retired Barr.Isaac Edu in his speech admonish the beneficiaries to shun middlemen that will highjack the distribution exercise.
He described the gesture of the management of Olam rice farm worthy of emulation,Saying the distribution marks a watershed in the relationship with the host communities
Not fewer than eighteen communities benefit from the gesture of the company,the beneficiaries are from Rukubi with 169 beneficiaries ,Ondori has a total of 90 beneficiaries ,Ijiwo with 90 beneficiaries,Kpakwo Bassa 131,Olegokpa with 73 beneficiaries,Ochepe with 99 ,Obendo with 95,Akpanaja with 100 beneficiaries,Sukene with 31 beneficiaries
Others are Apringbo with 31 beneficiaries,Signboard with Non and Kure with 31,Makana with non,Otiya with non,Agyema with non,Zayo /Kpakina with non,Abuja Ogoh with no beneficiaries,Gidan Kwasu with no beneficiaries totalling 1014 respectively.
Some of the beneficiaries also expressed delight over the gesture of the largest rice Farm in Africa.
Halima Ishaku a widow who lost her husband for the past 30 years expressed delight over the olive branches of Olam rice Farm.
“I felt happy with the 10kg rice and May Almighty God pay them in abundance.
Laraba Umaru in her testament, said she lost her husband 35 years ago,I know the 10kg rice that was given to us will sustain us.
