Obaseki Commiserates With Gov Emmanuel Of Akwa Ibom On Loss Of Lives From Church Building Collapse

Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki has commiserated with Governor Udoh Emmanuel and the people of Akwa Ibom state on the Saturday’s loss of lives from a church building collapse.

Gov.  Obaseki, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. John Mayaki, however thanked God for “your Excellency’s miraculous escape from death in the sad incident.

“We received with shock the sad news of the Reigners’ Bible church intl inc building collapse on Saturday.

“While I and the good people of Edo state rejoice over your miraculous escape,  we however,  commiserate with your excellency and  family members of worshippers who lost dear ones from the incident.

“As our prayers are with those who sustained injuries and wish them speedy recovery, may the good Lord grant your excellency and the families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of their loved ones in the incident. “
