Nzem Berom Cultural Festival Holds 19th May At Rwang Pam Stadium

Local organizer of Nzem Berom cultural festival has advocated for cultural harmony of all the festivals in Plateau State and the neighboring states for economic diversity of the people.

The former gubernatorial candidate in Plateau State and the Chairman Local organizing Committee, Arc Gyang Pam Dung has disclosed that the shifting of the Nzem Berom annual celebration will be on the 19th May, 2017 at Rwang Pam stadium Friday.

The former gubernatorial gave this disclosure at the Gbong Gwom Jos stressing that the shifting of date of Nzem Berom was to enable the Governor Simon Lalong and Chairman Traditional Council Gbong Gwom Jos ,Da Gyang Buba to attend  national summit.

He explained that the significant of the Nzem Berom cultural festival is to draw the culture of African communities on the value of the people that exist without culture.

According to him, the festival is annual celebration prayer by the Berom speaking native in Nigeria bumper harvest and for god protection to guide the people through the season of farming.

He appealed that state and federal government should harmonize to bring other tribes together to promote our cultural diversity of Nigerian people to attract tourist from within and international.

Gyang advised that’ the youth should give great attention to because of the important attach culture our youths are gradually forgetting some ingredients where so many crime are practice in the society today.

Arc Pam Dung Gyang also called on the youth to participate actively in cultural festival of their community so as to learn to live peaceful with their neighbors.

He emphasized that building love and understanding amongst the people was one of the vital aspect of African culture as we preach peaceful coexistence.
