NUJ Tasks ITF Director General To Bring His Wealth Of Experience To Transform The Place

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Plateau state council has task the incoming Director General of the Industrial Training Fund, ITF, Joseph Ari to bring his wealth of experience to bear in turning around the fortunes of the fund.

Chairman of the council, Yakubu Taddy gave the challenge when he led the executive members of the union on a congratulatory visit to Ari in his home in Jos.

According to the NUJ, “fresh challenges before you as you assumed office is surmountable because we trust in your abilities.

” You have Proven your mettle in your early days at the PRTVC, you were at one time, the Permanent Secretary, Government House in the state and these are by no means; sensitive positions which would propel you to succeed, he stressed.

For the ITF, he added, is a homecoming to the new DG, who he said has served in various capacities before now; indicating that he is in a familiar terrain which placed in in an enviable position to pilot the affairs of the fund.

He further pledged NUJ support to the DG and the fund as it would  “continue to stand by you” at all times.

Responding, Ari appreciated the union for the visit‎ and assured that with the support of all and sundry, he would have no excuse not to perform  .
