The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has today passed a vote of no confidence on commissioner of the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission for been a partisan politician.
1. The House in it resolution aver that the estranged commissioner is no longer qualify to hold that delicate position.
2. That the house is not comfortable with the reputation of Hon.Muhammed Hassan and urged the state Governor to submit a fresh nominee for screening.
3. House committee on Nasiec, public Account, and Security to find out the level of preparation of Local Government election by the state electoral umpire.
4. To lift embargo placed on Nasarawa State Broadcasting Service for covering activities of the state Assembly.
Vast of the members mostly of the People’s Democratic Party fold maintained on the removal of the Mohammed Hassan AKA (Kutumpashiya), The lawmakers raised an eyebrow over the speech of Nasiec commissioner following the presentation of a joint committee report on Information, Security and Special Duty.

Other lawmakers that averred on the replacement of Nasiec commissioner, Muhammed Hassan also included Hon.Abdulkarim Muhammed PDP representing Wamba constituency, also Hon.Muhammed Muluku PDP Nasarawa Eggon North, Nathaniel Agyo Mesa PDP representing Lafia East also agog for the elimination of the beleaguered commissioner.
It was further outspread that the disgruntle commissioner apologies to the lawmakers for his insalubrious utterances when called upon by the members
