The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC Plateau State chapter commandant, Olasupo Solomon has disclosed that at least 100 of its personnel were deployed to complement the efforts of other Nigerian security to help bring the crisis under control.
Commandant Solomon in an interview with our reporter disclosed that the Fulani herdsmen/farmers clashes had resulted in loss of many lives and properties in Plateau state and its environs.
He condemned the incessant attacks on innocent citizens who are going about their normal businesses and were cut in the web of the madness.
Solomon reiterated the need for cordial working relationship between the leadership of Miyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria for peace to reign in their immediate society.
He has lamented that the number of deaths, casualties are rising up at alarming rate and that his men are working 24 hours to ensure the stability of the state, as our men were drafted to the scene peace is gradually returning to the two communities.
However, Olasupo Solomon decried the proliferation of small arms in Nigeria by appealing for urgent steps to tackle mayhem lingering within the state.
