NSCDC Commandant Orders For Arrest Of Criminals Vandalizing Public Installation

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Mallam Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu has directed all NSCDC formations to ensure that the Easter celebration is done without breach of peace and security.

 

 

His orders was contained in a Press statement made available to the media in Plateau State as warned against vandalizing public installation in the country.

 

 

Meanwhile, the Plateau State Command of the Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps, Commandant, Dr Olasupo Solomon also deployed no fewer than 2,000 Officers and men of the service across the 17 Local Government Areas for a hitch free Easter celebration in the state.

 

Solomon expressed confidence that with the number of operatives deployed to man the security of lives and property of residents, the state is safe from any dangerous act of the hoodlums.

 

He called on all families and guardians to warn their children to stay away from causing troubles or acts capable of causing crisis that can prevent the state from enjoying peace during the festive period and beyond.

 

He warned that anybody caught engaging in any form of misconduct shall face the wrath of law.

 

He added that the Commandant General, Mallam Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu has directed all NSCDC formations to ensure that the Easter period is celebrated without breach of peace and security.

 

He revealed that Gana emphasized the corps’ mandate of Critical Infrastructure protection across the nation.

 

Meanwhile, Dr Solomon has also given assurance to all the Plateau State residents to go about their lawful business before, during and after the celebration of the Easter without fear, saying his men are battle ready to deal with perpetuators of heinous crimes.

 

The commandant then commended the state governor, Rt. Hon. Simeon Bako Lalong for his commitment to total restoration of peace on the plateau.

 

While promising to ensure the command would be up and doing in its security duties, he enjoined residents to keep cooperating with security agencies by promptly reporting any infraction or suspicious movements in any part of the plateau.
