The Plateau State Candidate for Not Too Young Young To Rule Comrade Haruna Yusuf Abba,  Nigeria who contested for the seat of  the Plateau State House of Assembly in the last General election, which was held in 2019.,to represent Jos North-North and polled a good margin with massive support, despite his young age.

 

Haruna Yusuf Abba, also known as Realist has concluded plans to join the largest Party in Africa, the All Progressives Congress. Haruna Realist, as he is popularly known by his supporters is a graduate of Political Science from the prestigious University of Jos. A youth with political zeal and determination.

 

Haruna disclosed his intentions and plans to join the All Progressives Congress. He said his decision to join the All Progressives Congress is in line with his philosophy,  which is youth-oriented.

 

As a realist, he intends to promote active youths’ political participation and bring to the table the most needed change, policy implementation and also contribute his own quota in the growth and development of Jos North, Plateau, and Nigeria at large.

 

He also disclosed that the celebration to mark his move to the APC shall be graced by the APC stakeholders, political appointees within and outside the state, As part of the event, there will be a free health walk in honor of RT.Hon Simon Bako Lalong, the executive governor of Plateau state and chairman Northern Governors Forum, with thousands of supporters from the University of Jos, Bauchi Road campus Gate to the Jos North Local Government Secretariat as the termination point.

 

He also opined that the Executive Governor would be celebrated, as Hero of Democracy for his achievements, restoring and sustaining the peace on the Plateau, Justice, and fairness to all, irrespective of creed, religion, or ethnic coloration. He (Haruna Realist) concluded by saying he in collaboration with the APC youths Progressive vanguard has decided to celebrate the Governor now because he deserves to be celebrated now and not posthumously.
