Northern Youths Angry Over IBB’s Refusal To Congratulate Buhari On His Victory By James Bawa

A group of Northern Youths have expressed their disappointment over former President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida’s attitude of refusal to congratulate the President elect, General Muhammadu Buhari who emerged victorious at the March 28th Presidential Polls contesting against, incumbent President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of the PDP.

In a statement signed by the convener of Concerned Northern Youths Amalgamation today in Kaduna, the statement reads “It is a shame to the personality of an elder statesman who is supposed to be an umpire to clearly show his disappointment to the will of Nigerian Masses who voted for Buhari and that is why IBB couldn’t convey his congratulatory message to the peoples-general”.

The convener Comrade Edward Hussaini added that “We are not surprised after all to IBB’s attitude, we are aware of the critical role he played along his children towards ensuring the success of President Goodluck Ebele and Umar Nasko in Niger State.

He said, Aisha Babangida was among the campaigners of Goodluck while Muhammad and Halima were members of Umar Nasko’s Campaign but that IBB should not worry, because they will surely disgrace him for his open hate to the President-Elect under the platform of the APC.

  • Rubbish! Both Channels and AIT aired his congratulatory message just some couple of days after Buhari has been declared winner.
