No More Percentage Payment To Local Government Workers-Commissioner L. G

The Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Haruna iliya Osegba averred that the regime of percentage payment to your Local Government workers has come to an end.

 

 

Osegba hinted this during an exclusive interview with selected Journalists at the ministry For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

 

 

The Commissioner disclosed that the decision to pay full salary to workers at the third tier of government was due to the upward review of finance from The Federal Allocation Account Committee.

 

 

Haruna asserted that there would be no more percentage payment, he added.

 

 

“The Joint Account Committee is committed to end the quagmire, said the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

 

 

He applauded Local government workers for their understanding during the three years trying moments of half salary.
