The Senator Representing Bauchi South Senatorial District in Bauchi state, Senator Ali Wakili has vowed that no amount of falsehood, hate messages and criminal distortion from person or group can deter him chatter the course of legislative functions and welfare of the people.

The senator was reacting ‎to campaign of calumny being perpetrated by his detractors through conventional and social media to discredit him and ridicule his personality.

The Senator who spoke through his Senior Legislative aide Mohammed Ladan Ahmed said our attention has been drawn ‎ to a calculated sustained campaign of calumny expressed in carefully designed hate messages on both conventional and social media is unrelenting through deliberate falsification, distortion and misrepresentation of facts intended to discredit and bring to public ridicule, the person of our distinguished senator, Mal. Ali Wakili ,mni.’

‎According to him, they have uncovered that a new dimension has been systematically introduced to their evil machinations to compose carefully designed Hausa songs aimed at blackmailing‎ him.

Currently, the perpetrators have gone beyond the call of Bauchi State to commission popular Hausa singers in Kano, Kaduna, Zaria and Zamfara, to compose carefully designed Hausa songs aimed at blackmailing Ali Wakili.‎

Wakili  called on his supporters  to remain resolute and focused, we at the same time I assure them that no amount of falsehood, hate messages and criminal distortion, from any person or group will ever  detract us from unshakable commitment to our statutory legislative functions and to the welfare of our people. ‎

The legislative aide Ahmed explained the senator’s contributions to bills, motions and general debates on the floor of the Senate still remain unparalleled.

‘In the same vein, his community outreach, gesture, assistance to the needy and indeed all his philanthropic activities will continue unabated, the aide concluded ‎.
