A political bigwig in Mangu Local Government Council of Plateau State ,who is also an All Progressives Congress , APC, chieftain , Amb . Sadiq Abdullahi has  disclosed that he has no intention of defecting to any opposition party and vowed to drum support for DR Nentawe Yilwatda in the forthcoming general election .

He said ,”I  remain a bona fide member of  APC supporter in Mangu and also a grassroots politician and ardent supporter of  Dr  Nentawe Yildatda in the governorship of the 2023 general election.

Amb. Sadiq made this known to our medium in an executive interview in Jos , at Rantya DPO shopping center in Jos.

He debunked allegations being peddled by mischief makers that he planning to dump the APC to PDP flag bearer from Mangu LGA was the personal imagination of a greedy politician.

According to him, “that is not true, I have been a grassroots politician and everyone knows me that I don’t vote for a party, but my vote is for a candidate who can deliver , who has what it takes to deliver on dividends of democracy to the plateau people.

Amb. Abdullahi explained further that, Dr. Nentawe is someone with the pedigree of leadership quality to deliver the state from present economic hardship to better high.

He advised the electorates to go with a candidate, not a party because this is one of the biggest mistakes our people always make.

He admonished Nigerians to avoid politics of religious and tribal sentiment which had already bedeviled and lost our sense of reasoning.

We no longer fight corruption as a people because both the two dominant religions receive support from their people, which had made us vulnerable to current attacks, corruption, and insecurity.

Amb. Sadiq said the allegations of his plan to defect to PDP was the handiwork of mischief makers even though the zoning arrangement favours the central zone of Plateau state and as a Mwagawvul man I  still remain a strong supporter of the APC.

According to him, “I am an APC strong man and I  started with  Dr. Nentawe in 2010, and I can’t abandon him now, adding as a politician I go by a candidate if that person is capable of delivering the dividends of democracy and if the person is the focused.

We employ politicians at all levels, especially our grassroots politicians to understand the plight our of vulnerable farmers in society.

He explained further that his vote goes for a credible candidate who has the pedigree to promote the tenets of democracy and also the person who can understand the problems of the masses and won’t regret voting him into power.

Amb. Sadiq said if Plateau votes for Dr. Nentawe they won’t regret their action by counting their fingers because he is someone that can Carry everyone alone in his projects.

He  vowed to go with Dr. Nentawe because from the inception in 2010 when he indicated interest to contest for the governorship seat we begin to mobilize support for his candidature.

He stressed that he will be happy with the person that introduces his programs and projects that can impact positively the lives of people even whether the person is Angas , Mupun, or Mupun that is not my own business but that person understands the major challenges of Plateau man.

Amb Abdullahi harped more on the issue of tribe saying it can’t play any role in the forthcoming general elections because Nigerians are aware of their right, even when a ticket is picked by  Mwalgawvul man that might not change anything considering that I believe in those that honest and transparent with vision and mission to deliver.

He stated that he doesn’t believe in tribal politics, and he can’t decamp to any party no matter what and I won’t do anti-party in politics, no going back, and strongly believed APC will clinch the 2023 general elections.

Abdullahi noted that he wondered why Nigerians are still practiced religious or tribal politics, especially in this 21 century of our country where politician use religion and ethnicity to win the election and abandoned the masses to wallop in poverty.
