NNPC Warns On The Danger Of Propane Gas, Donates Drugs To Victims of Nasarawa Gas Explosion

Dr. Maikanti Baro, the group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation donated drugs to victims of Lafia Gas explosion in Lafia.

 

 

The representative of the M. D, Isa Inuwa condoled and consoled Nasarawa State Government as well the families of those who lost their loved ones as he consoled them over the irreparable lost.

 

 

Inuwa says Propane Gas should be handling with safe regards to issues of Liquefied Petroleum Gas.

 

 

He however maintained that Propane reduced deforestation and gas emission.

 

 

Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura while responding sympathises with the NNPC over the killing of their two staff during crisis in Nasarawa South.

 

 

He says only people with approval would be allowed to establish Gas Station in the state.

 

 

Calling on the Department of Petroleum Resources, The Nasarawa Urban Development Board and other relevant authorities before citing either gas or Petrol station.

 

 

The governor said Gas Station should be established within human inhabitants’ at least 100 metres from abodes.
