The Plateau State Chapter of the Nigerian Hunter Council has paraded a syndicate of drug peddlers who are selling crack popularly known as Cocaine in an open market to flashpoints areas in Plateau.
The Command said the clampdown on three notorious kingpins that deal with the selling of drugs within Kabong community of Jos North Local Government Council.
The head of the intelligence unit,Mr. John Pam in an interview disclosed this to journalists while parading the culprits before newsmen at the Federal Secretariat on Tuesday in Jos.
Mr Pam told journalists that the drug sellers were apprehended in Kabong at about 6 am at the park while on information gathering on the activities of the drug sellers that are on the rampage and the professional hunter council beamed her searchlight by sending one of its staff to act as one of the buyers.
He explained that on arrival at the location where those drug peddlers disburse their items, he then asked one of them Mr. Chinedu Emmanuel the selling agent of the peddlers who directed him to where to obtain the substance that attracted the enforcement team to effect an arrest on them.
This medium gathered that Mr. Chinedu Emmanuel is a 27 years old man who hails from Abia state with two children who are 7 and 4 years of age and he moved into Plateau state 10 years ago.
According to him, he works with Kabong Motor park, where he is loading vehicles.
Mr. John Pam vowed that they promised to get rid of criminal elements, creating a sleepless night for Jenta Adamu, Jenta Mangoro,Kabong, and its environs.
He stated that these men of the underworld are using dangerous substances to attack innocent people by snatching and disposing them of the value in the evening.
Pam said, the Nigerian hunter council is well repositioned to clamp down on miscreants who are perpetrating crimes in the neighborhood after consuming the substance.
We have deployed our staff across all the nooks and crannies of the state capital to ensure drugs free society by warning guardians against allowing their children to engage in drugs selling and consumption.
The head of intelligence, says, those paraded include Enoch John, Monday Osumbo, and Chinedu Emmanuel as the culprits at their hideout.
He employed all citizens to provide useful information to the Nigerian Hunter council to help curtail and reduce crime in the society through a joint collaboration with other stakeholders, security, and security agencies.
However, the victim who was arrested at Kabong motor park is, Enoch Johnson who cries out that he is not part of the drugs peddling distributing it but he was at the park when they invaded.
He explained, ” I was at the park when my boss sent me to go and buy him Ijaw, coming all from Lagos via through Kaba in Kogi state and he met him sitting.
They were arrested with drugs they call crack or cocaine sellers to friends within the Kabong community and its environs
